Biography

As Publications Director of EPI from 2011 to 2022, Engdahl oversaw the editing, design, and production of EPI’s research products and marketing materials, ensuring that books, reports, brochures, charts, and other print and online documents communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to intended audiences. Prior to joining EPI in 2011, Engdahl ran a consulting business providing writing, editing, and project management services to a range of clients, including the Brookings Institution, Fannie Mae Foundation, Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, National Academy of Public Administration, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Published works include From Despair to Hope, a book on public housing she co-edited with former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros, and feature articles in the Washington PostChicago Tribune, and many other publications.
